Porto Santo Island is located in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean, about 79km away from Madeira Island, with approximately 5500 inhabitants.

Known as the "Golden Island" due to the color of its ground, vegetation and 9km sandy beach, it is the only one in Portugal distinguished from other European beaches due to its, scientifically proven, therapeutic and medicinal properties.

The island offers an unique sea temperature of 18ºC/22ºC and occupies an area of 11km long and 6km wide. Being mostly flat, is excellent for cycling around the island.

Besides enjoying the magnificent and relaxing beach, you can enjoy a wide range of water sports, horse riding, golfing, biking and explore new paths, walking, visiting museums and the traditional windmills.

Up on arrival at Porto Santo, the bicycle will be delivered according to a deposit of €25 and presentation of the ticket corresponding to the product. The deposit will be refunded on the bicycle delivery (in good conditions) on the boat 50 minutes before its departure to Funchal.
